Proverbs 1:23 Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings. Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 3: 5-7 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. Proverbs 4:4 Then he taught me, and he said to me,
“Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands, and you will live. Proverbs 5:7 Now then, my sons, listen to me; do not turn aside from what I say. Proverbs 5: 12-13 12 You will say, “How I hated discipline! How my heart spurned correction! 13 I would not obey my teachers or turn my ear to my instructors. Proverbs 6: 16-20 6 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community

17 Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. Proverbs 11:3 The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Proverbs 11:28 Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf. Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives. Proverbs 12:3 No one can be established through wickedness, but the righteous cannot be uprooted.
Proverbs 12:17 An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies. Proverbs 13:4 A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied. Proverbs 13:10 Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. Proverbs 13:17 A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a trustworthy envoy brings healing. Proverbs 14:7 Stay away from a fool, for you will not find knowledge on their lips. Proverbs 14:15 The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps. The words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream. Proverbs 18:9 One who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys. Proverbs 18:24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 19:3 A person’s own folly leads to their ruin, yet their heart rages against the Lord. Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 21:3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Proverbs 21:21 Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor. Proverbs 22: 3-4 3 The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.
4 Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life. Proverbs 22:15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away.
